Experience is how a player grows stronger. 100 EXP is required to level up once. Experience can be gained in multiple ways, as seen below:
Dungeons:
Dungeons are the main source of EXP in GURPG. They come in three levels:
Easy Dungeons: 500 words to complete, grants 10 EXP.
Medium Dungeon: 1K words to complete, grants 25 EXP.
Hard Dungeon: 2K words to complete, grants 50 EXP.
Arena:
The Arena is a secondary source of income where players combat one another in the arena with the winner gaining 25 EXP and the loser gaining 5 EXP.
Dungeons and Arena battles can be done in a party of up to 3 people. Dungeons have a total word count that the entire party must reach in order to complete the dungeon. Each member of the party gets the full amount of EXP when the word requirement is reached.
